Our terms and conditions are listed out below.  Payments made on charges or additional fees is an acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  1.  After initial discussions Afrikontinental Caterers willprovide the client with a written quotation which will remain valid until the event date. If the event brief alters at any time, it may be necessary to re-view and re-issue a new quotation.
  2. When booking; the client must supply approximate guest numbers. Final numbers must be confirmed in writing no less than 10 working days or 2 Weeks prior to the Event Date. As we cannot accept reductions in final numbers less than 10 working days prior to the Event Date.
  3. In situations where client invites more than the agreed number of guest, this shall attract an additional charge based on the extra number of guests.
  4. The client must notify Afrikontinental Caterers ofany special dietary requirements of their guests at the time of booking.
  5. Clients will be charged on breakages or losses as replacement cost.
  6. Afrikontinental Caterers reservesthe right to include a delivery charge in the quote according to location.
  7. The event is confirmed on the receipt by Afrikontinental Caterers of the required deposit.
  8. A deposit, based on a minimum of 80% of total quotation cost, is required immediately following receipt of invoice to confirm the provision of services provided by Afrikontinental Caterers not later than 10 working days before the Event. The remaining balance is due 2 working days before the event.


Custom-designed menus

  • We can custom-design menus for any occasion on request.

Buffet Events

  • Guests serve themselves.
  • Seats may be assigned or guests may choose their own seats.
  • China service or disposables are appropriate

Sit-Down Service

  • Guests are served all courses at their tables.
  • China service is required.


  • Closed holidays: New Year's Day, Easter, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
  • Parties on Sundays must be 100 people or more, or special pricing arrangements may be made.

Service Personnel

  • Service personnel and bartenders, dressed appropriately, are available.
  • Parties of fewer than 100 people are charged per service person.
  • Parties of more than 100 are charged 20% of the food order. (Gratuity at your discretion.)
  • Parties requesting bartenders are charged per bartender.
  • Parties requiring chefs on location are charged accordingly.
